How to start a new exam with an existing patient.

Existing Patient

  1. Log into the AOS web portal, here, using your credentials.

  2. On the welcome page under 'Select a patient' click on the drop-down list, which will bring up a list of all your patients.

  3. Alternatively, you can start typing the name of the patient in the empty field and a search of the database will take place, which will show names nearest to your search, Figure 1.

  4. Select the relevant patient.

  1. This will now take you to the 'Patient Record' page

  2. Then select 'New Exam' to conduct an examination, Figure 2.

  1. This will take you to the 'Examination page', Figure 3.

  2. From here select the + icon which will take you to the 'Media Gallery', Figures 4 & 5.

Note: Every image that is in the AOS Vision mobile app, which was taken by either the patient themselves or by the ECP, will automatically be transferred and stored in this location.

  1. Images from an alternative source can be added by clicking the '+ Add' button. This will open a file browser and the file of choice can be selected and added to this page.  

  2. Images required for the examination can be selected from within the media gallery.

Note: The selected image will have a tick in the box on the top left of the image. The image can also be de-selected by clicking on it again.

3. To continue to examine the chosen image, click the 'Use Selected Media' button, Figure 5.

4. The selected image(s) will appear on the left-hand side of the examination screen, Figure 6. From here you are ready to start the analysis session.

5. Now, use the 'Product Resource' documents to navigate through the multiple features available and carry out an in-depth examination.
