Image / video capture error

How to check app permissions.

The Vision App needs permission to access your camera and microphone in order to capture the relevant images/videos.

Step 1: Open settings by either swiping down from the top of your screen (Figure 1) or by clicking on the 'Settings' App.

Step 2: Next, access the 'Privacy' section, Figure 2.

Step 3: Select 'Permission Manager'. 

Note: The permission manager allows the user to manage all permissions requested by the applications installed on the device. Any access grant can be denied again if you wish.

Step 4: Click 'Camera' and follow step 5.

The apps will be split into four sections, 'ALLOWED ALL THE TIME', 'ALLOWED ONLY WHILE IN USE', 'ASK EVERY TIME', and 'DENIED'. 

Step 5: Tap on the AOS Vision App once and simply select 'ALLOWED ONLY WHILE IN USE', Figure 5.

Step 6: Then, do the same for 'Microphone', Figure 4.

You will now be able to capture images and videos within the Vision AOS App.

Note: The privacy manager allows the user to manage all permissions requested by the applications installed on the device. Any access grant can be denied again if you wish. 

Step 1: Open 'Settings' by clicking on your settings icon, then swipe down and tap 'Privacy'.

Step 2: Next, tap 'Microphone'. Ensure that the AOS Vision App appears green, if it does not, swipe the toggle.

Step 3: Go back to 'Privacy' and tap on 'Camera'  and ensure that the AOS Vision App appears green, if it does not, swipe the toggle.

You will now be able to capture images and videos within the Vision AOS App. 

Note: No images or videos are stored on the AOS Vision app.
